Exhibition at the London Science Museum

FLASH™ was displayed at the RobotVille Exhibition at the the Science Museum in London.

FLASH™ and 3 head types (EMYS, Samuel and Romek) were displayed at the RobotVille Exhibition at the the Science Museum in London. Visitors interacted with the robots. One of the interesting things about the psychology of this phenomenon is that people tend to like people that look like them — their family, for example. However, there is a tipping point where the robot starts to look disturbingly uncanny, and some people may start to feel uncomfortable with this. So the question addressed by this exhibit, was how much like you do you want your robot companion to be?
